Sherry Nabbie Singh

Sherry Nabbie Singh was born in the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago; Sherry Nabbie migrated to the USA in pursuit of the American Dream. She started writing short stories at the tender age of eight (8) which propelled her to pursue her academics in the field of English Literature with the aspirations to become a teacher and   ventually, focus on a career in Law and Legal affairs. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Literatures in English from the University of the West Indies, Sherry expanded her education by pursuing a broadcasting course to assist her Journalistic ventures as well as her personal hobby in the creative arts and performance arena as stage performer in the art of dance. Sherry is currently in the process of writing her first Children’s book and young adult novel which will both soon be published.

Ekaterina Sabitova

Accounting Operations Manager

Ekaterina migrated to the USA with her husband and two beautiful kids in pursuit of the American Dreams. She has successfully completed the Accounting Operations program at Atlantic Technical College which consists of 900 hours of classroom and related training. She is a dedicated accounting professional with a background and degree in economics and law offering versatile and creative approach to problem solving. She has over 12 years’ experiences in this field. As a part of her instructional program requirements, she has completed an Employment Portfolio which includes information pertaining to her technical training. She is highly trustworthy and ethical individuals.

Harry Sookraj

Audio/Visual Technical Liaison

Harry was born in the islands of Trinidad and Tobago May 7th, 1980 and moved to the United States at age of ten. He attended Dickinson High School where he found his love for music and started his Disc Jockey career. While at Ramapo College of New Jersey, Harry double majored in Fine Arts Music and Law & Society. During his years in undergrad study he was able to hone his technical skills in setting up audio and visual equipment as well as mentor other students while working as a Lab Assistant. Harry has a passion for new and emerging technologies in the audio industry for both live sound and recording studios. Having run his own recording studio for several years he is versed in many genres of music from the regions of the Caribbean and the United States. Harry also enjoys learning about other cultures, discovering new ways of solving problems, and traveling to places of historical significance. Currently he is co-owner/operator for Bubbler Sound System, partner of So-Flo Fantasy Feters, and radio host for WeTingRadio.com. WeTingRadio.com.

Danielle Muzac

Danielle Muzac was born in Pasadena California-1ST generation American. Both parents were born in Jamaican. Mom is a Doctor and father is an Electrical Engineer. She went to prominent boarding school in Mississippi for most of high school where she met Oprah and Morgan Freeman. She went to Nova Southeastern Business Administration. She is a professional Makeup artist background that work with celebrates and a Realtor that specializes in investment properties, residential and commercial. She loves to give back to community working with various organizations like Taylor Closet, Women in Distress, Dress for Success, Gods Little Acres and because of her love for animal, she works closely with animal rescues. She is passionate about the Jewish Jamaican Community. In her spare time, her hobbies include writing short stories, singing with band, playing piano and nerding out on the latest tech gadget.

Omar Zamrudeen

Hi, My name is Omar Zamrudeen I am a 24-year-old photographer and graphic designer. My passion is to do both graphic designing and photography because it lets me express my feelings in a way only certain people understand. Basically like any artist in the world, we all are artistic some way and it’s a different way never the same. My goal and my everyday job is to photograph and capture those moments that can’t be repeated. As a graphic designing my goal is to design those custom designs you think and ill design it.

My designing motto is: I dream to design and design to dream.
My photography motto is: Capturing moments as they happen.

Nicholas Johnson

Nicholas Johnson was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. At 21 he joined the Army for an opportunity to venture the world and serve like is father. As a soldier he gained skills in Information Technology and Satellite Communications. In 2005 Nicholas was stationed in Germany where he deployed to Iraq for 15 months. In the midst of the 15 month tour he acquired his first camera and a joy for photography. After serving the military for eight years Nicholas traveled Europe where photography became a passion. He returned to the States in 2009 where education became his focus, obtaining a degree in Computer Science, then attend Columbia College minoring in photography. He has since been recording his experiences and travels of the world threw photography. In 2015 he relocated to sunny Florida where he continues to pursue his IT career and his passion for photography.

Malika Singh

Communications Representative

Malika Singh was born in Guyana, South America and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. She is the youngest of five siblings and a proud Aunt of eight nephews and three nieces. Malika was the first to graduate from college amongst her siblings. She obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She continued her studies in Finance and Accounting and has successfully established a career as a Sr. Accountant. In addition to a full-time career, she is a freelance writer and maintains a blog which focuses on finding the greener side of the grass in some of life’s toughest situations. Malika utilizes her writing to encourage and empower people to believe in their potential. She firmly believes, life should be full of “I did” instead of “what ifs”.  Some of her interests include traveling, reading and music. She has a very adventurous spirit and feels you should try things once, twice if you like it.

Etienne Bellemare

Etienne Bellemare is a Highway Engineer from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. There he attended St. Mary's College, then moved to Miami in 2013 to continue his education at Florida International University.  He attained a degree in Civil Engineering and is now employed by a consulting engineering firm in Boca Raton, specializing in roadway and lighting design. In his leisure time, Etienne enjoys playing football (soccer), billiards, table tennis, snorkeling, hiking and reading. He also enjoys going to the beach and spending time with friends.

Indira Chow

Assistant Volunteer Coordinator

Indira Chow was born in the Caribbean side of a small country, in Central America call Nicaragua. The land of lakes and Volcanoes. She is the second out of 3 children to Jaime Chow and Helen Maradiaga . In honor of the Great Indira Gandhi, her grandmother, Juana Vega, named Indira after her.  Indira attend Verbo High school in Nicaragua and graduated with honors. At the age of seventeen, she moved to The United States, where she continue her higher at Broward College; where she major in Business. There, she met her husband, Tex Zuniga and had one child. Currently, Indira is spending her last semester at Broward college and is planning to finish up her higher education at FAU. She is currently working as a Medical Biller and Collector. Indira share a passion for the art of a makeup artist. She enjoy spending time teaching others how to apply makeup. She is the creator of the first makeup group for her country of origin Nicaragua, which is currently trending within her country and have over 45,000 members and counting. This influence her sensation and build her hopes and dream to go back to her native land and help her fellow people. She looks forward to be apart of South Florida Caribbean Conference because she share the desire to help other and bring awareness to others.

Jenny Boodlal-Sookraj

Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago

Jenny Boodlal was born in South Trinidad. She is the eldest of three siblings and the proud mother of three children. Jenny obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago.  She gained extensive training in the specialized field of Psychiatric Social Work and stands firmly on humanizing Mental Health Awareness. Jenny is a resilient advocate for children and the elderly; and she devotes her extra time in mentoring youths.  She has an amazing sense of humor and describes herself as a people’s person. Jenny embraces her interest in exercising, reading and shopping.
